Rosa

The Rosa drop earrings are made up of 5 individual interlocking sections all strung on sterling silver box chain and hanging from a tiny stud with sterling silver butterfly back. 

Each piece is made from native Irish yew wood, both in it's natural colour and in ebonised black.  Once cut, drilled and sanded, each section is polished with Burren wildflower beeswax from my dad's beehives, to seal and protect the wood and enhance the colour and the grain. Like much of my work, these earrings incorporate movement and gravity, with each piece falling into place once it is hanging from the wearers eat. 

Each earring weighs just 2.5g and 6cm long by 1.7cm wide. Comes packaged in a beautiful branded box, ready for gifting.
