Deoir

Deoir (pronounced similarly to Dior) means drop or teardrop in Irish. I have always loved things that interlock, and flat planes coming together to make three-dimensional shapes, and so I have made this mini-collection of three-dimensional geometric shapes for your ears.  Alongside Deoir I have Muileata (Diamond) and Cruinn (Sphere).

As always, they are extremely lightweight, made from beautiful yew wood either in it's natural colours or ebonised to become a deep rich black, and polished using Burren wildflower beeswax. They hang from a sterling silver box chain which adds a little sparkle and movement, and measure 1.5cm diameter at their widest with a 3cm drop. Each piece is made from natural wood and so will be completely unique. While the size and shape will be as pictured, there is considerable variation in the colour and grain in every piece of wood.

All of my jewellery is made to order and I allow 3-5 business days from ordering to shipping. However, if you need something in a hurry please contact me directly and I will try to facilitate you. For those of you with sensitive ears, I can make any of my earrings with surgical steel ear posts instead of sterling silver, please get in touch if you would like me to make you a pair.
